Cool election map

Checkbox One-person-one-vote; I like that concept better than one-acre-one-vote.

And I also like it when somebody finds a way to pack a lot of information into a small package.  That’s what I like about the ratio of debt-to-GDP (see an example at the top right of this blog), and that’s what I like about the interactive election maps I found at the New York Times last night. 

Below is what it looks like this morning for the House of Representatives.  Notice that each little square is one congressional district, representing approximately 700,000 people.  Click to enlarge.

I like this population-focused map a lot better than the other red/blue map we see all the time, because it emphasizes one-person-one-vote, as opposed to one-acre-one vote.
