I discovered a good bargain yesterday evening while evaluating several web stats services: www.web-stat.com is the one I liked best. For five bucks a month, I can see, at any time, where in the world the last hundred visitors to this site came from—among a lot of other useful statistics.
Below is an example. My analysis of the map: During this 100-hit sample, I was getting ignored by everybody in Russia, China, Indonesia, Australia, the Middle East, Greenland, and Antarctica. I think China is still censoring me, and I've already kissed those 1.3 billion potential readers goodbye. Regarding the other regions: if this no-hit pattern continues, I'll have to try shuffling the list of countries I track on the National Debt Thermometer to see if that widens my market penetration. (I've only captured one-billionth of the market in India, for example; lots of room for growth there.)
In any case, I'm happy I found www.web-stat.com. Here's the map; click to enlarge.
